Sjors en Sjimmie Stripblad

A short-lived but fondly remembered Dutch anthology from Oberon, Sjors en Sjimmie Stripblad ran for 50 issues between 1987 and 1989. The series centered on the classic duo of Sjors and Sjimmie, alongside regulars like Kolonel, Sally, and Dikkie, while also featuring strips by top Dutch talents such as Fred Julsing, Martin Lodewijk, Henk Kuijpers, and Don Lawrence—including Lawrence's iconic Eric de Noorman. It offered a concentrated dose of homegrown adventure and humor, serving as a vibrant snapshot of the Dutch comic scene in the late 1980s.
