About the series

From 1994 onward, Semic Interpresse revived the classic horror-comic tradition with Skræk, a six-issue series that reprinted the EC Comics tales originally edited by Bill Gaines and Albert B. Feldstein. The anthology's gruesome, twist-ending stories were brought to life by the unmistakable art of Jack Davis, Graham Ingels, and Jack Kamen, whose detailed, often grotesque panels defined the genre's golden age. With occasional contributions from Danish creator Monster-Maja, the series stands as a fond, faithful tribute to the macabre spirit of 1950s horror comics.
