Slam Bang Comics

Slam Bang Comics, published by Bell Features from 1946 to 1949, was a short-lived but energetic seven-issue series that captured the tail end of the Golden Age of comics. Most associated with the work of writer Carl Alton and artists Bob Wickersham, Ed Alton, and Frank Little, the title delivered straightforward, punchy adventure stories typical of the era.
