About the series
In the mid-2000s, Tokyopop published this brief two-issue series, a supernatural drama from writer and artist Seung-Hui Kye. The story follows a young woman who can see and communicate with ghosts, using her ability to help troubled spirits find peace. Though short-lived, Soul Rescue is a notable example of Tokyopop's efforts to bring original English-language manga-style comics to a Western audience.
