Space Ace

José Lombardía, Ramón Torrents, and José Beá were the core creative team behind Space Ace, a 33-issue sci-fi serial from Atlas Publishing that ran from 1960 to 1963. The series followed the interstellar adventures of its titular hero, blending space-opera action with the distinctive, energetic artwork of its Spanish artists. While not as widely remembered today, it stands as a robust example of early-1960s European comic-book science fiction, produced by a stable of talented creators working in the Atlas house style.
