About the series
Based on the Hanna-Barbera cartoon, Speed Buggy ran for nine issues from Charlton Comics in the mid-1970s. The series followed the adventures of a talking, personality-filled dune buggy and his teenage friends, with scripts primarily by the prolific Joe Gill and artwork by Bill Williams and Frank Roberge.
