About the series
Following the events of "One More Day," this 2008–2009 Marvel series rebooted Peter Parker's world, erasing his public identity as Spider-Man and his marriage from memory. Written primarily by Dan Slott and Zeb Wells, with art from Chris Bachalo, Marcos Martín, and Steve McNiven, the three-issue story introduced a new status quo for the character. It brought in fresh supporting players like Carlie Cooper and the villainous Dexter Bennett, while recontextualizing classic figures like Harry Osborn and Aunt May. A pivotal, if controversial, relaunch for the era, Brand New Day set the tone for Spider-Man's adventures for years to come.
