Spiderman

In the late 1960s, French publisher Société Française de Presse Illustrée (SFPI) produced its own original Spiderman series, running 34 issues from 1968 to 1972. Distinct from the American comics, this European take on the web-slinger was primarily scripted by David Motton, Donne Avenell, and Ken Mennell, with artwork by Aldo Marculeta, Aldo Marcuzzi, and E. Uberti. A fascinating, lesser-known chapter in Spider-Man's global publishing history, it stands as a unique French interpretation of the character during the Silver Age.
