Starbuck

Philippe Foerster wrote and drew this three-issue Dupuis series from 1990–1991, a short-lived but characterful French comic. It follows the surreal, often deadpan adventures of its titular hero in a world of oddball science fiction and bureaucratic absurdity. Foerster’s distinctive, lightly grotesque art and offbeat humor make it a cult curio from the late-Éditions Dupuis era.
