Stef Ardoba

Over seven issues from 1976 to 1982, Oberon published Stef Ardoba, a Dutch comic series primarily written and drawn by Bert Bus, with occasional scripting by Kees Vuik. The series followed its titular character through adventures that blended a grounded, slightly gritty tone with the clean, expressive linework typical of European adventure comics of the era. While not a long-running hit, Stef Ardoba remains a noteworthy example of Bus’s versatile storytelling and a compact piece of late-70s Dutch comics history.
