Stingray Monthly

In the mid-1990s, Fleetway Publications launched Stingray Monthly, a short-lived eight-issue series that brought the classic 1960s Supermarionation underwater adventure to comic form. The title followed the exploits of the World Aquanaut Security Patrol's most advanced vessel and its crew, led by the formidable Captain Shore, as they defended the oceans from various threats. While the series was brief, it stands as a notable example of Fleetway's efforts to adapt Gerry and Sylvia Anderson's television properties for a new generation of readers during the British comic boom of the era.
