Stomperud på eventyr

In the mid-2010s, Norwegian publisher Hjemmet / Egmont revived the classic folk hero Stomperud for a four-issue comic series, Stomperud på eventyr (2014–2017). Written by Terje Nordberg and drawn by Magne Taraldsen, the series sends the beloved, bumbling soldier on new adventures, updating his gentle humor for a modern audience. It stands as a fond, short-lived tribute to one of Norway’s most enduring comic icons.
