About the series
In the early 1950s, Magazine Management launched Straight Arrow Comics, a 47-issue Western series that followed the adventures of a mysterious, masked rider of the same name. The title is most associated with prolific writer Gardner Fox, who scripted the bulk of the series, while artists Fred Meagher, Fran Matera, and Joe Certa regularly brought the frontier action to life. It stands as a solid example of the post-war Western comic boom, offering straightforward tales of justice and heroism on the range.
