Strawberry Funnies Special

A short-lived but spirited three-issue series from the mid-2000s, Strawberry Funnies Special was a creator-owned project by writer-artist Tom Foster. Published outside the major corporate lines, it offered a charming, offbeat alternative to mainstream superhero fare. Foster’s distinctive, warm cartooning and whimsical storytelling made it a small but memorable footnote in the indie comics landscape of the era.
