Sub-Mariner Comics

A seven-issue run from Superior Publishers, Sub-Mariner Comics (1948–1949) brought Bill Everett’s undersea antihero back to the newsstands during the post-war comic boom. With scripts by Bill Woolfolk and art by Ken Bald, Al Gabriele, and Everett himself, the series offered a brief but vivid showcase for Prince Namor’s aquatic adventures and battles with surface-world foes.
