Suburban High Life

A short-lived but notable three-issue series from Slave Labor Graphics, Suburban High Life (1987–present) captures the off-kilter, DIY spirit of late-80s alternative comics. The book is a collaborative showcase, with frequent contributions from writer/artist Joe Sacco—before his landmark journalism work—alongside Basilio Amaro, Frank Cirocco, and Jim Hummel.
