Super Freunde

From 1980 to 1985, Egmont Ehapa published Super Freunde, a 13-issue German comic series that brought together DC’s most iconic heroes—Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, and others—in team-up adventures. The series was most frequently written by E. Nelson Bridwell and Sergius O'Shaughnessy, with art by a standout trio of Ramona Fradon, Kurt Schaffenberger, and Romeo Tanghal. It stands as a key entry in the European superhero market of its era, offering a cohesive, all-ages take on the Justice League-style ensemble for a German-speaking audience.
