About the series
During the late 1960s, Danish publisher Interpresse brought the Man of Steel to European readers in a dedicated series that ran for 53 issues. Featuring the classic Silver Age storytelling of writers Edmond Hamilton and Leo Dorfman, alongside the clean lines of artists Al Plastino and Mike Sekowsky, these issues were distinguished by painted covers signed by K. Nordstrand. This series stands as a notable example of how Superman's adventures were localized and presented to an international audience during a pivotal era of superhero comics.
