Superpatriot

From 1993 onward, Image Comics published Superpatriot, a four-issue series that introduced a new kind of American hero. Created primarily by Erik Larsen and Keith Giffen, with striking art from Dave Johnson and Giffen, the book follows the adventures of its titular hero alongside allies like Mighty Man, Johnny Armstrong, and Major Jake Farrell. A blend of patriotic bravado and sharp-edged storytelling, it stands as an early Image title that helped define the publisher's signature mix of over-the-top action and character-driven plots.
