About the series
In the early 1970s, the German market got its own version of the beloved Belgian classic Suske en Wiske, published by Rädler as Suske und Wiske. This 14-issue series, running from 1972 to 1973, was helmed by the series' creator Willy Vandersteen and his studio, with Paul Geerts also contributing as both writer and artist. It offered German readers a curated selection of the duo's timeless adventures, bridging the gap between the original Flemish stories and a new international audience.
