Swift Annual

From 1955 to 1963, Hulton Press published nine issues of Swift Annual, a companion to the weekly Swift comic. The series is most strongly associated with writer Mike Butterworth and artist Don Lawrence, who brought a polished, adventurous sensibility to its pages. Though short-lived, the annual stands as a distinctive artifact of mid-century British comics, offering a curated collection of serialized strips and features that captured the era's optimistic, family-friendly tone.
