T-Bird and Throttle

Josh Howard writes and illustrates this Alterna Comics series, which launched in 2021 and has run for four issues. Set in a world of anthropomorphic animals, it follows a pair of unlikely heroes—a bird and a beetle—as they navigate adventure and danger. Howard’s distinctive, energetic art and character-driven storytelling give the series a charming, offbeat feel.
