Taotao-taskukirja

A compact Finnish comic series from Lehtimiehet, Taotao-taskukirja ran for just six issues between 1984 and 1986. The series is best known for its central character, Taotao, a Chinese boy whose adventures blend folklore and fantasy. Though brief, it remains a distinctive artifact of 1980s Finnish comics publishing, offering a playful, culturally-inflected alternative to the era's superhero-dominated pocket books.
