Tarzan

From 1989 to 1990, Bladkompaniet (later Schibsted) published a 20-issue Tarzan series that brought the jungle lord to a new generation of readers. The run is notable for the involvement of legendary artist Joe Kubert, who both wrote and drew installments, alongside the striking work of artists Bane Kerac and Petar Meseldzija. This collaboration between American and European comic talents gave Tarzan a distinctive, muscular visual energy that set the series apart from other adaptations of the era.
