About the series
From 1992 to 1993, Semic published a five-issue Tarzan series that brought the Lord of the Jungle into a new era with a distinct, atmospheric visual style. Most closely associated with writer-artist Thomas Yeates, whose detailed linework and sense of adventure defined the book, the series also featured scripts by Henning Kure and Ola Jameson. This compact run stands as a noteworthy European take on the classic Edgar Rice Burroughs character, offering a self-contained, richly illustrated adventure that remains a favorite among fans of the period.
