About the series
In the late 1980s, DC Comics launched Teen Titans Spotlight, a 21-issue series that peeled back the team's group dynamics to focus on individual members in their own adventures. Written primarily by Marv Wolfman, Tony Isabella, and R. J. M. Lofficier, with art by Ross Andru, Denys Cowan, and Jackson Guice, the series gave deeper insight into characters like Dick Grayson—then operating as Nightwing—and even featured Batman and Bruce Wayne in supporting roles. It matters as a character-driven companion to the main New Teen Titans run, offering a more intimate look at the heroes' personal struggles and solo missions.
