Hilda Terry’s Teena ran for three issues from 1947 to 1948 under Magazine Enterprises. Terry, a pioneering female cartoonist, both wrote and illustrated this series, which offered a slice-of-life look at a teenage girl’s daily adventures. While short-lived, the strip stands as an early example of a woman creator shaping the teen humor genre in comics.
