About the series
In the mid-1990s, DC Comics published Terminal City, a nine-issue creator-owned series by writer Dean Motter and artists Michael Lark and Glenn Fabry. Set in an alternate, retro-futuristic 1990s, the story follows a former vaudeville star investigating a murder in a decaying metropolis that blends Art Deco glamour with noir decay. Motter's intricate plotting and Lark's moody, detailed artwork create a distinctive, atmospheric thriller that stands as a cult favorite for its unique vision of a forgotten America.
