Terrific Comics

A short-lived but memorable 1940s anthology from the Temerson/Helnit/Continental group, Terrific Comics ran for six issues beginning in 1944. The series featured a rotating roster of creators, with regular contributions from writer-artist Ed Wheelan, writer Jack Grogan, and artists Don Rico and Al Zere. It stands as a snapshot of the Golden Age's energetic, low-budget adventure and humor comics.
