Terroress

In the early 1990s, writer and artist Ben Dunn brought a raw, rebellious energy to the independent publisher Helpless Anger with Terroress (1990–1991). This three-issue series introduced a vigilante heroine whose brutal methods and darkly satirical tone set it apart from mainstream superhero fare. A cult artifact of the early Image-era indie boom, Terroress remains a stark, unpolished artifact of its creator’s singular vision.
