About the series
In the mid-1970s, Williams Publishing brought the legendary Italian Western hero Tex Willer to American audiences with a 12-issue series that adapted his classic adventures for a new readership. This short-lived run introduced the stoic Texas Ranger and his Apache blood-brother Kit Carson to English-speaking fans, capturing the sweeping, pulp-inspired storytelling that made the character a sensation in Europe. Though the series did not endure, it remains a notable attempt to bridge the transatlantic gap for one of comics' most enduring Western icons.
