The Colonel

A short-lived wartime entry from the Norman Book Company, The Colonel ran for a single issue in 1942. Published during the Golden Age of comics, it featured a patriotic hero fighting the Axis powers, a common but popular theme of the era. Though only one issue exists, it stands as a minor artifact of the period's rush to produce flag-waving adventure comics.
