About the series
The Darkness (2001–2007) is a seven-issue series from Image Comics that introduced a supernatural antihero wielding a primal force of shadow and violence. Primarily associated with writer Garth Ennis and artist Marc Silvestri, the story follows a mob hitman who inherits a cursed power that connects him to an ancient, sentient darkness.
