The Deathsnake

John Blackburn’s The Deathsnake is a compact, singular vision from Fantagraphics, launched in 1994 and spanning three issues. Blackburn both writes and draws this series, which centers on the recurring character Coley Cochran. A cult oddity from the alternative comics scene, it showcases Blackburn’s raw, idiosyncratic style in a self-contained burst of storytelling.
