About the series
In 1990, Marvel published The Elsewhere Prince, a six-issue limited series that brought the visionary French artist Moebius (also co-writing with R. J. M. Lofficier) to the American mainstream. The story follows Major Grubert, a character from Moebius's own Arzach and The Incal, as he navigates a surreal, psychedelic odyssey through alternate realities and cosmic bureaucracy. A landmark fusion of European bande dessinée and Marvel's superhero universe, it remains a cult touchstone for its dreamlike art and philosophical ambition.
