The Extinction Parade

Max Brooks, author of World War Z, brought his methodical zombie apocalypse to Avatar Press in 2014 with The Extinction Parade. Illustrated by Raulo Cáceres, the series flips the script by telling the story from the perspective of vampires, who must confront the terrifying possibility that their human food source is being wiped out by a far more mindless plague. This short, potent debut issue sets up a bleak and cleverly inverted horror scenario.
