About the series
The Fade Out is a noir-infused mystery series from Image Comics, launched in 2018. Written by Ed Brubaker with art by Sean Phillips, it follows a screenwriter in 1940s Hollywood who becomes entangled in a dark conspiracy after a starlet is found dead. With only one issue released so far, it promises the duo's signature blend of gritty crime and psychological tension.
