The First Kingdom

Set in a post-apocalyptic America, The First Kingdom was a six-issue series from the underground publisher Comics and Comix, running from 1974 to 1977. A collaborative effort featuring the writing of Bill Blackbeard, Clay Geerdes, and George Clayton Johnson, the comic explored the birth of a new society from the ashes of the old.
