The Goon

The Goon (2011–present) from Cross Cult collects the early adventures of a hulking, sharp-witted enforcer in a bizarre, mob-run world of monsters and mayhem. Best known for the singular vision of creator Eric Powell, this series established the tone and setting of the Goon's ongoing saga, blending pulp crime with horror comedy. Though only a single issue, it marks the beginning of a cult-favorite independent series that would grow into a celebrated run.
