About the series
From 2023 to 2025, Image Comics published The Holy Roller, a nine-issue series that follows a former rock musician turned pastor who finds himself defending his congregation with a bowling ball. Created by writer Andy Samberg and artist Joe Trohman, the series blends dark humor with action as it explores themes of faith, redemption, and small-town conflict.
