From 2001 to 2005, Infinity Verlag published three issues of The Magdalena Sonderheft, a German-language comic series primarily written by Frank Neubauer and Marcia Chen, with Brian Ching providing the art. The series offered a distinct, self-contained take on the mystical warrior lineage of the Magdalena, blending supernatural action with a European sensibility.
