The Shaolin Cowboy (2015–present) is a martial-arts Western from French publisher Glénat, blending kung fu action with spaghetti-western grit. Created by writer/artist Geof Darrow, known for his hyper-detailed, chaotic style, the series follows a lone warrior—a Shaolin monk turned wandering gunslinger—through a surreal, post-apocalyptic landscape. Though currently comprising just one issue, it extends Darrow's long-running independent series, originally from Burlyman Entertainment, and matters for its breathtakingly intricate, panel-cramming artwork and its unique fusion of genres.
