About the series
From 1994, Marvel Comics published a four-issue miniseries centered on the Shroud, a dark-clad vigilante with a mysterious past. Writer Mike W. Barr, alongside artists M. C. Wyman and Anthony Williams, explored the character's occult-tinged crime-fighting and his complex ties to the superhero community. A moody, street-level tale, it expanded the lore of a lesser-known Marvel figure.
