About the series
From 2018 onward, Alterna Comics has published The XII, a ten-issue series written by Patrick Trahey and illustrated by Luis Suarez. The story follows a group of twelve strangers who awaken in a mysterious, abandoned city with no memory of their pasts, only to discover they are being hunted by a terrifying entity. Blending survival horror with psychological mystery, the series stands out for its tight, self-contained narrative and Suarez’s moody black-and-white artwork.
