Tim Holt

In 1955, Magazine Management launched Tim Holt, a short-lived comic series that ran for seven issues, starring the cowboy hero of film and radio fame. Though the run was brief, the title is notable for early work by a young John Severin, whose gritty, detailed art helped define the Western genre for the publisher. It remains a modest but historically interesting entry in the mid-century boom of comic-book Westerns.
