Time Twisters

A 21-issue anthology series from Fleetway/Quality, Time Twisters (1987–1989) offered a playground for some of British comics' most inventive talents, including frequent writers Alan Moore, Alan Hebden, and Peter Milligan, with vivid art by Mike White, Massimo Belardinelli, and Eric Bradbury. Each issue unfolded a new standalone story—often darkly humorous, surreal, or satirical—centered on the paradoxes and perils of time travel. Its unconstrained, creator-driven format allowed for imaginative leaps that would later influence the mature, experimental edge of UK comics in the late 1980s.
