About the series
In the late 1970s, the Norwegian publisher Allers Forlag collected Hergé's classic Tintin adventures for a new generation with Tintins opplevelser (1978–1980). This 11-issue series presented the beloved stories in a fresh format, with translations and editorial work by Gunnar Øi and Jan Thesen, while Hergé and his studio collaborator Bob de Moor provided the iconic artwork. It stands as a key Norwegian edition of the series, making Tintin's globe-trotting investigations accessible to Scandinavian readers during a period of renewed international interest in the character.
