Toil and Trouble

From 2015 to 2016, Boom! Studios published Toil and Trouble, a six-issue miniseries reimagining Shakespeare’s Macbeth through the eyes of the three witches. Written by Mairghread Scott with art by Kelly Matthews and Kyla Vanderklugt, the story gives these enigmatic characters agency and depth, exploring their motivations and the consequences of their prophecies.
