In 2018, Panini Brasil released a single-issue special, Tom Strong e o Planeta do Perigo, bringing Alan Moore’s science-hero adventurer to a new audience in Brazil. This standalone story, drawn by Chris Sprouse, captures the pulp-inspired spirit of the original America’s Best Comics series, with Tom Strong facing a bizarre threat on a dangerous planet. Though brief, it’s a welcome, affectionate return to one of the most inventive characters of the early 2000s.
