Tomahawk

Published in Norway by Illustrerte Klassikere and Williams Forlag, Tomahawk (1969–1976) ran for 90 issues, bringing American frontier adventure to a Scandinavian audience. The series primarily reprinted stories from the DC Comics character Tomahawk, with scripts by Robert Kanigher and Dave Wood, and artwork by Fred Ray and Frank Thorne, among others. It stands as a notable example of how classic US war and western comics were adapted and sustained for international readers during the 1970s.
